Hustle for the Cause started in January 2017 with the vision of creating positive social change in our communities.
For the past decade, we have dedicated our creative practice to event production, content creation, and social innovation. From producing documentaries and festivals to designing community-centered programming, Hustle for the Cause is a creative social impact studio owned and operated by queer women of color. We take up space and create with purpose.

Increasing grassroots philanthropy: Chingona Fest Texas
Chingona Fest Texas is a Latina empowerment festival designed to increase Latina leadership, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy.
Hustle for the Cause produced this festival in Austin to expand the conversation around intersectional art, leadership and civic engagement.
Addressing a Lack of Representation in the Film Industry: FemBeat: Chingonas
FemBeat is a documentary series based in Austin, Texas. Through an intersectional lens, FemBeat strives to highlight diverse perspectives through storytelling and sisterhood.
Hustle for the Cause worked with FemBeat to co-produce FemBeat: Chingonas, a short documentary dedicated to uplifting Latinas and the expansive impact of the word CHINGONA.
